What are these folders?

Hi there!

I'm just starting (or rather, trying to start) with LiveCycle.

I must put this solution together to convert files into PDF files using PDF Generator, so I'm trying to follow a tutorial to learn how this works.

I've got this watched folder from where LC must get the files and convert into PDF.

However, the files are not collected, no PDF are generated and the following folders show up, all of them empty:

failure

input

preserve

stage

And also a file called .fplock containing:

#Thu Oct 28 14:43:49 BRST 2010
FILE_PROVIDER_HOST_NAME=APNB0025
FILE_PROVIDER_SERVICENAME=Archive_Documents_Request/Processes/ArchiveRequest
FILE_PROVIDER_ENDPOINT_ID=1005
