PDF Generator/Open Office problem in Linux

Hi,

my LC ES Server 9.0 (incl. Pdf Generator ES) is running under Linux and I want to get this service working. Testing a .doc, .txt, .jpg with the Workbench (CreatePDF2) as well as with the adminui produces a ALC-PDG-001-000-Error. Although I've installed OpenOffice on the server and set the OpenOffice_PATH environment variable to the install directory (/opt/openoffice.org3) and not to the executables how it is described in the manual. All the other settings and procedures need for PDFG have been taken care of. The system readiness report for PDFG is showing all green. The HTMLToPDF conversion produces the same error - Trying it with an URL or a HTML file. Please let me know if someone faced similar problems and were able to resolve. I appreciate any help you can extend.

Environment:

Operating System : Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.4 - 2.6.18-164.11.1.el5
Jboss :  jboss-eap-4.3
LiveCycle : Adobe LC ES 2.5 (Version 9.0)
Data Base : Oracle 11g
Office: Open Office 3.2.1
LDAP : MS Active Directory ( MS windwos server 2003 )

Thanks and Regards,

Goutham.
