I have Java code that calls the Generator 8.2 ES web service to convert documents. This code works fine for Office 2007, OpenOffice, and WordPerfect, but for some reason it fails with PostScript files. There error code I'm getting back from the server is " ALC-PDG-001-015-This file type is not supported." I don't believe it's an environment issues because I can login into the LiveCycle admin UI and use the Generator service through the web page to convert PostScript files. So it can convert PostScript, but just doesn't work when calling the conversion through the Web service.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any suggestions for work fixes or work arounds?
